Author Biographies

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zülfi Umut Özkara is a faculty member in the Department of Capital Markets at the Faculty of Financial Sciences, Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Hacettepe University and was later awarded the title of Associate Professor in Management and Organization. His research focuses on leadership, supervisor support, organizational cynicism, altruistic behavior, and trust dynamics, with broader interests in organizational behavior, human resource management, and strategic management. He has published extensively in SCOPUS and TR Dizin indexed journals, contributed book chapters on sustainability and digital transformation, and served as an editor in academic book projects. He is currently the managing editor of Gazi Journal of Economics and Business and has held roles such as Erasmus coordinator and thesis advisor. In 2023, he received a certificate of appreciation for his contributions to active learning. Sahnaz Kocoglu is an assistant professor at Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University of Ankara, Turkey. She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration at Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey. She received her Master of Science degree from Lund University, Sweden and Ph.D. from Hacettepe University, Turkey. Dr. Aynur TAŞ KAYA is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Hakkari University. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration from Hacettepe University, where she studied work engagement, organizational support, and work-family conflict. Her primary field of study is Organizational Behavior, with research interests in leadership, supervisor support, organizational cynicism, altruistic behavior, virtual leadership, and work stress. She has published in peer-reviewed journals indexed in TR Dizin and several international academic databases, and contributed book chapters on topics such as sustainability, digital transformation, and organizational psychology. She is also the author of a scholarly book and has served as the editor of one interdisciplinary academic volume. Dr. Taş Kaya has held administrative roles including Head of Department and Head of the Organizational Behavior Division. She has supervised one graduate thesis and participated in nationally funded projects related to women’s entrepreneurship. Her recent research focuses on the behavioral aspects of corporate socialresponsibility (CSR) in organizational settings.
Assistant Professor Aylin Akyol is a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Adıyaman University. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration from Hacettepe University and was later awarded the title of Assistant Professor in Management and Organization. Her research focuses on gender, organizational behavior, human resources management, and strategic management. She has published extensively in ESCI and TR Dizin-indexed journals, contributed book chapters on leadership and digital transformation, and also attended scientific international congresses. She has held roles such as thesis advisor and refereeing in journals. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Aykut is a faculty member in the Department of Social Work, at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Çankırı Karatekin University. He earned his Ph.D. in Social Work from Hacettepe University and was later awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Social Work. His academic studies mainly focus on social work, social change, disadvantaged groups, migration, and social work practices during times of crisis. He has published numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has also contributed to book chapters in the fields of health and social sciences and participated in various conferences addressing societal issues. To date, he has supervised the graduation of 10 students in thesis-based master's programs and continues to serve as a thesis advisor for several ongoing postgraduate research projects. In addition to his academic profile,he has undertaken administrative roles such as Head of the Department of Individual and Social Problems and Erasmus Coordinator.
