Halina Binti Mohamed Dahlan is a Senior Lecturer at the
Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Management, University of
Technology Malaysia. Her career started in 1997 as a tutor in the Department of
Information Systems at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems,
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). In 1998, she became a lecturer after
receiving her Master’s in Computer Science from UTM. She received her PhD in
Computation from the University of Manchester in 2008. As a lecturer, she
usually teaches Database Systems and System Analysis and Design courses for the
undergraduate programme, and System Development Application course for the
postgraduate programme. She also became a supervisor for the undergraduate and
postgraduate students, mainly in the area of information systems, e-learning
applications, and decision support systems. Currently, she is the Head of
Programme for the Master of Information Technology specialisation in
Information Technology Management. Her research interests include information
systems, e-learning, and decision support systems.
