Kalehiwot Nega Manahiloh is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at Liberty University. Dr. Manahiloh is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Societies of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Engineering Education (ASEE), the Ethiopian Association of Civil Engineers (EACE), the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), and the American Geophysical Union (AGU). He is also a member of the ASCE Geo-Institute’s Unsaturated Soils and Computational Geotechnics Committees and TRB's Soil and Rock Properties Committee. His scholarly contributions have earned him recognition such as the Outstanding Dissertation Award at WSU in 2013, the Professional Engineer Award from UD’s College of Engineering in 2016, and the Best Paper Award at LUSE in 2023.
