Dr. Paola Parlanti received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa, Italy) in 2018.
She worked as Research Associate/Post-doctoral researcher at George Washington University (Washington, DC, USA), and as Post-doctoral researcher at Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ, USA). In 2020, she moved to the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Pontedera, Pisa, Italy) working as senior post-doctoral researcher.
Her research topics mainly include electron microscopy (TEM, SEM, FIB-SEM, Serial Block Face SEM) applied to the field of material science and cell biology/neuroscience, as well as the development of electron microscopy advanced techniques.
