Prof. Dr. Xiaogang Lin is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Optoelectronic Engineering at Chongqing University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in precision instruments, a master’s degree in instrument science and technology, and a doctorate in optical engineering. He is also a visiting scholar and guest professor at the University of Tennessee. He is an editorial board member of journals such as “Sensors”, “China Testing”, “Laser Magazine”, and “Automation and Instrumentation”. He won the first prize of the Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award (2020) and has presided over more than 20 provincial and ministerial research projects, including projects under the National Key R&D Program, projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and projects related to the “12th Five-Year Plan” for the foundation of national defense and military technology. He has published over 40 high-quality SCI/EI-indexed papers in top international and domestic academic journals and has been granted over 30 national invention patents, including two national defense patents.
