Dr. Juan Carlos Jauregui-Correa graduated from the School of Engineering
of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), in 1983. He
received a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from UNAM, in 1984,
and a D.Eng. from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, in 1986. He
has been a member of the National System of Researchers, since 1988. He
is currently a Professor-Researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de
Querétaro, where he is also a Postgraduate Coordinator. He is also a
Mechanical Electrical Engineer. He has been holding the Level III
Distinction, since 2003. He belongs to several professional
associations, is the President of the Specialty of Mechanical
Engineering of the Academy of Engineering, the Founding Member and the
Vice President of Mechanical Design of the Mexican Society of Mechanical
Engineering, a member of the International Federation of Theory of
Machines and Mechanisms, and the Society American Mechanical Engineers.
