Prof. Dr. Jianhui Qi is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Nuclear Science and Energy Dynamics, Shandong University. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Shandong University (2008–2015), and completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Mining Engineering at the University of Queensland, Australia (2014–2019). Since joining Shandong University in 2019, his research has focused on advanced energy and power cycles (such as supercritical CO₂), compressor modeling and optimization, dense fluid compressible fluid dynamics, and innovative impeller machinery design. Prof. Qi has been recognized with multiple academic honors, including the First Prize of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Science and Technology in Shandong Province (2025), the Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Science and Technology Research from Shaanxi Higher Education (2025), and the Third Prize in Science and Technology from Shandong Higher Education (2020).
