Prof. Chiara Piccardo is an assistant professor in the Building Physics and Sustainable Design Unit, Department of Engineering Technology, Ghent Technology Campus, KU Leuven, Belgium. She obtained her Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 2012. Prof. Piccardo’s research interests include sustainable architecture, the built environment, energy efficiency in building, sustainable construction, building technology, bioclimatic architecture, building materials, and life cycle thinking.
