Amalia Sillero-Sillero, Ph.D., is a professor at the Department of Nursing and a degree coordinator at Escoles Universitàries Gimbernat, affiliated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in research in applied health sciences from the UAB. In addition, she earned her Ph.D. in health sciences from the University Jaume I of Castellón. Her primary research expertise lies in nursing science, focusing on the working environment and its impact on the health and well-being of healthcare professionals, patient safety, and surgical patient care. Her research also explores ethics in nursing practice, cardiovascular nursing, education, and gender studies in healthcare. She is an active member of the Spanish Association of Cardiovascular Nursing (AEEC) and the Spanish Association of Surgical Nursing (AEEQ), serving on the scientific committee. Additionally, she contributes to the Gender and Policy Group of the Professional College of Nursing, promoting research and initiatives that aim to foster gender equity and ethical practice within the nursing profession.

Dr. Noemí Moreno-Segura is an assistant professor at the Department of Physiotherapy at the Universitat de València, where she also earned her Ph.D. in physiotherapy. Her research is concentrated in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, with a significant focus on determining the efficacy of non-pharmacological interventions for the management of chronic conditions. She is an active member of two research groups: Clinimetry and technological development in therapeutic exercise (CLIDET) and Research unit in Clinical biomechanics (UBIC).
