Dr. Bangmin Wu holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Xinjiang University, and a master’s and doctoral degree in Computational Mathematics from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He was a CSC joint doctoral student at the Department of Mathematics at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany. He was previously an assistant database engineer at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in Xi’an, a young doctoral student of Category B at the School of Mathematics and Systems Science, Xinjiang University, and a visiting scholar at the Department of Mathematics at Tsinghua University. He is currently an associate professor and master’s supervisor at the School of Mathematics and Systems Science at Xinjiang University. His research areas include numerical solutions of partial differential equations, computational mechanics, numerical methods, and optimization algorithms for variational or semi-variational inequalities and applied statistics that includes numerical methods for stochastic differential equations, numerical methods for variational inequalities in financial mathematics, and machine learning for solving partial differential equations. He has presided over and participated in many scientific research projects. He has published several scientific research papers.
