Wendi M. David is a Professor of Instruction in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Texas State University. Wendi M. David obtained a B.S. in Chemistry in 1992 from Texas State University (then known as Southwest Texas State University), followed by a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin. Wendi M. David was awarded the Presidential Distinction Award for Excellence in Service from Texas State University College of Science and Engineering in 2019 and the Teaching Award of Honor from Texas Alumni Association in 2020. Wendi M. David’s research interests include biomolecular recognition and G-quadruplex DNA.
