Tao Wang is a professor at the College of Resource, Environment, and Tourism of CNU. He currently serves as Chair of the ICA Commission on Education and Training, Vice Chair of the Commission on Cartography and GIS of the Geographical Society of China, and Vice Chair of the Map Working Committee of the China Association for Geographic Information Service. From 2016 to 2022, he was Associate Dean of the College of Geospatial Information Science and Technology. His research primarily focuses on geospatial databases, terrain analysis, geovisualization, and urban simulation.
