Biologist, MSc in Physiological Sciences from U Concepción (Chile) and PhD in Physiology and Medical Sciences, with postdoctoral in vascular pathophysiology at King’s College London-U London (UK). Holds a Diploma in Teaching from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). Fellow of Royal Society of Medicine (FRSM), Fellow of The Physiological Society-UK (FTPS), Fellow of Academy of Physiology of the International Union of Physiological Sciences (FIUPS), and elected member of Academy of Sciences of Latin-America (ACAL). Professor of Molecular Physiology and Medicine at Faculty of Medicine, PUC (Chile), Honorary Professor at U Queensland (Australia), U Sevilla (Spain), and São Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil), and Collaborator Professor-Faculty of Medicine, UNESP (Brazil).
