Feliks Prasepta Sejahtera Surbakti earned from the Institut
Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, a BS in Industrial Engineering (2003) and from
the University of Queensland, Australia, a PhD in Data Science (2020). He is
now the Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, School of Bioscience,
Technology, and Innovation, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. His
work in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and ethical technology
governance has resulted in more than 40 academic publications, conference
presentations, lectures, and professional training courses; active memberships
in professional organisations including IEOM Society International; and awards
such as the AI & Data Analytics Award (IEOM Society, 2025), Best
Paper Ritektra Award (2021), and Visiting Lecturer Recognition
(DNUI, 2025). His research interests include AI ethics and governance,
sociotechnical systems, responsible AI in organisations, sustainable
innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
