Konstantin J. Scholz is an associate professor in the department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology at the University
of Freiburg and is also co-affiliated with the department of Conservative Dentistry and Periodontology at the University Medical Center Regensburg. He earned his Dr. med. dent. from the University of Freiburg and his habilitation (venia legendi) from the University Hospital Regensburg. He is a member of the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) and a member of the Organization for Caries Research. He has served as a senior physician and has received multiple awards for his contributions to dental research and education.
