PhD in Civil Engineering, International Welding Engineer (IWE), and International Welded Structures Designer (IWSD). Lecturer in the courses on design of welded structures at the Romanian Welding Society. Project Director/Scientific Responsible for 6 national projects. Member of the research team of 9 international projects (H2022, FP7, ERASMUS+, LLP) and 5 national projects (POSDRU, PNCDI, PN II, PN III). Over 90 reviewed papers in the last 3 years. Over 10 years of experience in education. Published 6 books, 3 chapters in international publishers, and edited 4 international books. Member of the Working Group on FSW and Research at EWF. Member of the editorial board of the Serbian journal, Building Materials and Structures. Reviewer for MDPI journals such as Materials, Processes, Sustainability, Buildings, and Symmetry (55 papers reviewed in 2021-2023).
