He received his Ph.D. degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from the State Key Laboratory of Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing Information Engineering at Wuhan University in 2012. From January 2015 to present, he has been an Associate Professor at the College of Resources and Environment, South China Agricultural University. His research and teaching focus is on agricultural informatization and agricultural remote sensing, with a particular emphasis on the following:(1) Research on key technologies for rapidly acquiring spatial information about the environmental environment of agricultural products;(2) Research on extracting crop planting information from multi-source remote sensing data;(3) Research on the calibration of domestically produced high-resolution remote sensing data;(4) Research on the application of LiDAR in forestry;(5) Research on key technologies for rapid UAV mapping;(6) Research on key technologies for dynamic monitoring of crop diseases and insect pests;(7) Agricultural planning and design.
He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1997. Currently, he is a professor of the Microwave IC Department, Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on UV Solar Blind and focal plane array imagers based on AlGaN/GaN Photodetector photodiodes. This includes detector design, fabrication, and read-out ICs.
