Lufeng Zhang, Senior Engineer, is currently
employed at the headquarters of the China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec). He
previously worked at the Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration
and Development. His research focuses primarily on acidization and acid
fracturing technologies for unconventional reservoirs and their application in
field operations. Zhang holds a PhD from the China University of Petroleum
(Beijing) and is a recipient of the "Top Ten Outstanding University
Students" award. He has authored multiple highly cited papers in
prestigious petroleum journals including SPE Journal, JPSE, and JNGSE.
Fengrui Sun is an associate professor and has studied,
visited, and worked at the China University of Petroleum (East China), the
University of Texas at Austin in the United States, the China University of
Petroleum (Beijing), and the China University of Geosciences (Beijing). His
research focuses on mineral prospecting and exploration, as well as petroleum
engineering. For five consecutive years, from 2021 to 2025, he was honored as a
"Highly Cited Researcher in China" (Elsevier). Fengrui Sun has had many
research achievements in the fields of heavy oil thermal recovery and the numerical
simulation of wellbore heat transfer.
