Dr. Yun Wu is an associate professor at China University of Mining and Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. in geological engineering from Nanjing University in 2021. His main research fields include nuclear waste disposal, deep energy storage, and thermal energy exploitation. Dr. Wu has hosted many research projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other institutions, and published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers.
Sun Tao is an associate professor at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. He currently works in the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. His research interests include geostatistics, geology, and geographic information systems (GISs). His current research project is "3D geological modeling and numerical simulation."
Prof. Kui Zhao, PhD candidate. His research interests include mining engineering and rock mechanics and engineering. He received his bachelor's degree in mining engineering from the Southern Institute of Metallurgy in 1992, his master's degree in mining engineering from the Southern Institute of Metallurgy in 1995, and his doctorate in engineering mechanics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2003. He has been awarded the title of Model Teacher of Jiangxi Province and the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award. He is also a council member of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, a member of the Education Committee of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the chairman of the Jiangxi Geomechanics and Engineering Society, an editorial board member of the journal Gold Science and Technology, and a member of the expert committee of the journal Modern Mining.
Haigang Li is a doctoral candidate. His research interests include mine safety, disaster prevention, and emergency management. He received a bachelor's degree in mining engineering from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology in 2004, a master's degree in mining engineering from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology in 2007, and a doctorate in safety science and engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2017. In 2019, he served as an assistant engineer at the Jiangxi Provincial Safety Production Science and Technology Research Center, then as vice president of the Jiangxi Safety Science Research Institute in 2020 and the Jiangxi Emergency Management Science Research Institute in 2022. He currently serves as president of the Jiangxi Emergency Management Science Research Institute. He is also the director of the Jiangxi Provincial Mine Safety Engineering Technology Research Center and vice chairman of the Occupational Health Technical Service Branch of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association.
