Andrea Di Martino (Member IEEE) received his M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2020. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. His area of research includes mobility, transportation systems and electric vehicles and traction. Eng. Di Martino is a member of the Italian Group of Engineering about Railways (CIFI).
Michela Longo (Member, IEEE) received her M.Sc. degree in information engineering and the Ph.D. degree in mechatronics, information, innovative technologies and mathematical methods from the University of Bergamo, Bergamo, Italy, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. She is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. Her area of research includes electric power systems, electric traction, and mechatronics. Prof. Longo is a member of the Italian Group of Engineering about Railways (CIFI) and the Italian Electric Association (AEIT).
