Başak Aytatlı earned, from Atatürk University, a BS in Landscape Architecture (2009), an MS in Landscape Architecture (2013), and a PhD in Landscape Architecture (2021). Since 2012, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Design. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including basic design, graphic design, material knowledge, landscape design, and urban furniture. Her academic work in ecological landscape planning and design has contributed to various publications, conference presentations, and educational activities. Her research interests include ecological landscape planning and design, landscape management, cultural landscapes, urban open and green spaces, land use planning, GIS-based spatial analysis, and the accessibility of sustainable green infrastructure in secondary cities.
Selcan Bayram earned, from Yozgat Bozok University, a BS in Urban and Regional Planning (2009), and from Gazi University, an MSc (2014) and a PhD (2022) in Urban and Regional Planning. She worked as a research assistant at Ataturk University (2011-2013; 2019-2022) and Gazi University ( 2014-2018). She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Yozgat Bozok University. Her teaching disciplines include conservation and renewal in urban development, globalization and spatial transformation, and urban design, while her areas of interest include urban renewal, cultural economics, urban policies, and sustainable urban planning.
Semiha İsmailoğlu earned, from the Karadeniz Technical University, a BS in Interior Architecture (2013), MSc (2016) and a PhD in Architecture (2021). She worked as a research assistant at Ataturk University (2015-2021). She is now an associate professor of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Department of Architecture. Her teaching disciplines include architectural history, theory and concept and architectural design, and her interests include architectural theory and concept gender, and sustainability.
