He previously earned a master's degree from the University of Stuttgart, focusing on the atmospheric effects of long-range terrestrial laser scanning. Mansoor has extensive professional experience in 3D data acquisition and surveying across Asia, Europe, and Australia.

Dr. Pilgrim has extensive experience working in both the private and government sectors in the surveying, photogrammetry, laser scanning, and geospatial engineering fields. Previous academic appointments include at The University of Sydney (Department of Civil Engineering), and currently at The University of Newcastle (Discipline of Civil Engineering, Surveying, and Environmental Engineering).
