Author Biographies

Hiroyuki Sasaki received his B.S. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Tokyo in 2007 and is now pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Chemistry at Waseda University. Since 2019, he has been working as a researcher at the Niigata Prefectural Institute of Public Health and Environmental Sciences, where he has been engaged in atmospheric monitoring and environmental chemical analysis. In 2022, he moved to the Asia Center for Air Pollution Research (ACAP), where he currently serves in the Data Management Department as a senior researcher. His research topics mainly include airborne micro- and nanoplastics (AMNPs), source apportionment of particulate matter (PM2.5), and advanced analytical methods such as micro-Raman spectroscopy.
