Engin Keflioğlu is an academic and educator whose specialization is Modern Turkish Literature. He holds a Doctorate (2022) and a Master's degree (2016) in Turkish Language and Literature, both from Yıldız Technical University. His doctoral research produced the thesis, "Reşit Asım Baran in Turkish Theatre (Life, Art)", and his master's thesis focused on the "Evaluation of Enis Behiç Koryürek's Work Varidat-ı Süleyman in the Context of Sufi Elements". Dr. Keflioğlu's educational foundation began with a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Dumlupınar University in 1999. He is currently a teacher within the Ministry of National Education, a role he has held since 1999. His research interests are wide-ranging, encompassing comparative literary studies, cultural memory and urban resilience, Turkish theatre jubilee tradition, critical analyses of modern female identity and violence in literature, psychological and archetypal analysis of narrative, and the intersection of literature with concepts like Sufism, metamodernism, and historical memory. He has published numerous articles in international and national peer-reviewed journals, and his books include Reşit Asım Baran in Turkish Theatre (Life, Art) (2022), Four-Act Comedy: The Hole in the Wall (A Translation-Transcription-Analysis) (2024), Varidat-ı Süleyman and Enis Behiç Koryürek (2025), and The Küçük Kemal of the Turkish Stage (2025).
