Dr. Weina Zhang is an Associate Professor and Associate Researcher of the State Key Laboratory of Digital Steel, Northeastern University. She received her PhD at the State Key Laboratory of Rolling Technology and Continuous Rolling Automation, Northeastern University, from 2007 to 2011. She has led and participated in many scientific research projects, such as Research on the Strengthening and Toughening Mechanism of Fe Mn Al Si High Manganese TWIP/TRIP Steel, the Microstructure and Performance Control Mechanism of Low Loss, High Magnetic Induction, Thin Specification Silicon Steel Plate Prepared by Double Roll Thin Strip Continuous Casting, and the Precipitation Behavior and Evolution Mechanism of Nano Rich Cu Phase in New Ship Structure Steel. Her research direction is in the control of metal material forming processes and the study of microstructure and performance mechanisms.
