Krischonme Bhumkittipich received a B.Eng. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Pathum Thani, Thailand, in 1997, an M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2000, and a D.Eng. degree in Energy from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Pathum Thani, Thailand, in 2008. From 2002 to 2004, he served as a Research Associate at the Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA), RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, RMUTT, and serves as Vice President for Academic and Research Affairs. His research interests include future electric power grids, power system dynamics and stability, interconnection of power systems, electric vehicles, smart mobility, complexity analysis of power systems, and innovations for sustainable smart cities. He is an active member of the IEEE Power & Energy Society, the IEEE Power Electronics Society, the IEEE Industry Applications Society, the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society, and the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ).
