Author Biographies

H. Hu received the B.S. degree in Microelectronic Science and Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2021. Since then, he has been pursuing the Ph. D. degree in Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering at the same university. His research interests include memristors and processing-in-memory circuits.
Y. A. Liu (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2022. He is currently the Director of the Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Integration Platform Management Office at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and the Vice Dean of the Chongqing Institute of Microelectronics Industry Technology, UESTC. His research focuses on memristors, neural networks, and encryption systems.
S. Liu received the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is now a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His current research interests include processing-in-memory circuits and neuromorphic systems.
J. J. Wang received the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is now a researcher at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His current research interests include digital circuit design, nonvolatile memory devices, and their applications in artificial intelligence.
S. Y. Xiao received the B.S. degree in Microelectronic Science and Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Science and Technology. His research interests include digital circuit design, edge computing, artificial intelligence and their applications.
S. Q. Yan received the B.S. degree in Microelectronics Science and Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing, China, in 2022. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. His research interests include Computing in Memory, Crystal Oscillator, Low Dropout Regulator
R. C. Pan received the B.S. degree in Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated Systems from University of Electronic Science and technology, Chengdu, China, in 2022. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. His research interests include RRAM, artificial intelligence circuit design.
Y. Wang received the Bachelor's degree in Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated Systems from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, in 2024. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu. Her current research interests include processing-in-memory circuits, neuromorphic systems and artificial intelligence circuit design.
X. Y. Liao obtained a bachelor's degree in Microelectronics Science and Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2024. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering at UESTC. His research interests include digital integrated circuit design, AI accelerator architecture and embedded system design.
T. H. Mao received the Bachelor's degree in Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated Systems from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2025. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering at the same university. His research interests include digital circuit design, system-on-chip (SoC) architecture, and algorithm optimization for hardware acceleration.
Y. T. Chen received her M.Sc. in Biostatistics from the City University of Hong Kong. She earned her B.Ec. in Economic Statistics from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Her research interests include neural networks and Transformer architecture.
X. Z. Wang received the B.Sc. degree in semiconductor physics and devices from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 1996, and the M.Sc. degree in microelectronics and solid-state electronics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 1999. He then joined the faculty at UESTC, where he later earned the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics and solid-state electronics in 2010. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, UESTC. His research interests mainly include silicon-based novel semiconductor devices (FinFET, TFET), strained Si/SiGe devices and circuits, and special integrated circuit design.
Y. Liu received the B.Sc. degree in microelectronics from Jilin University, China, in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2005. From May 2005 to July 2006, he was a Research Fellow with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In 2006, he was awarded the prestigious Singapore Millennium Foundation Fellowship. In 2008, he joined the School of Microelectronics, University of Electronic Science and Technology, China, as a full professor. He is the author or coauthor of over 130 peer-reviewed journal papers and more than 100 conference papers. He has been awarded one US patent and more than 30 China patents also. His current research includes memristor neural network system, neuromorphic computing ICs, and AI-RFICs.
