Silvio Plehati, lecturer, was born in Zagreb in 1979. He is
a PhD student at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb. He obtained
a Master’s degree at the same faculty and another Master’s degree at the Zagreb
University of Applied Sciences. Since 2022, he has been working at the Zagreb
University of Applied Sciences. He participates as a team member in the
scientific projects “Realistic reproduction of flora made with twin dyes in
the visible and near-infrared range of the spectrum with application on
textiles” and “Application of VR technology and neural networks in the
field of computer security and digital forensics”. He is a member of the
Organizing Committee of the International Scientific Conference on Printing and
Design and a reviewer for the scientific journal Polytechnic and Design.
He publishes, together with co-authors, professional and scientific papers
related to graphic and software engineering, programming, and the design of
graphic security features. His areas of interest include programming in C
languages, graphic programming languages, 2D and 3D graphics, 3D printing,
micro (embedded) electronics, and sensors. He has published papers in
scientific and professional journals, as well as in national and international
conference proceedings indexed in WoS/Scopus.
PhD Aleksandra Bernašek Petrinec, senior lecturer, born in Zagreb in 1986, obtained her Doctorate at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb. In 2010, she was employed at the Faculty of Graphic Arts as an assistant. Since 2012 she has been working at the University of Applied Sciences. She actively participates in scientific projects at the university as project manager of “Realistic reproduction of flora made with twin dyes in the visible and near-infrared range of the spectrum with application on textiles” and as a team member of the “Building the Future with STEM” project. In 2013, she was appointed Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Polytechnic and Design. She is a member of the Committee for Scientific, Teaching and Professional Literature at the university and a member of the Editorial and Reviewer Committee of the scientific journal Acta Graphica, member of the Scientific and Review Committee of the International Scientific Conference on Printing and Design, and a member of the Organizing Committee of the International Scientific Conference on Printing and Design.
She holds certificates in the field of digital forensics “Basic Digital Forensics” and in professional use “Official training course Projectina Docucenter/Spectrometer”. She has published 28 papers in scientific and professional journals and national and international conference proceedings.
Tomislav Bogović was born in 1983 in Zagreb. He graduated from the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences in 2008. In 2020, he graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb. In 2022, he enrolled in the doctoral study program at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb. Since 2022 he has been working at the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences as a teaching assistant in courses in the field of graphic technology and design. He has published 15 scientific and professional papers and has participated in several international scientific conferences. As an author, he has exhibited in 5 group photography exhibitions. He is a member of the Organizing Committee of the International scientific conference Printing and Design. His fields of interest include graphic design, graphic technology, and color and dye spectroscopy, as well as video and photography.
Professor Jana Žiljak Gršić, PhD, is the Dean of the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences and also lectures at the University North. She is a full member of the Croatian Academy of Engineering where she serves as Secretary of the Department of Graphic Engineering. Her doctoral research at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Graphic Arts focused on modelling raster elements in stochastic multi-colour reproduction. She is a permanent court expert in the fields of graphic technology, design, handwriting, documents, securities, artworks, and payment instruments. Professor Žiljak Gršić is a recipient of the State Prize for Science for the development of printing inks for the visible and infrared spectrum, a discovery recognized with numerous international awards for innovation. She has published widely in her field and has been an active participant in EU research projects.
