Author Biographies

Limor Ziv holds a Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Bar-Ilan University, specializing in Human–AI Interaction. Her work focuses on algorithmic decision-making, transparency, and the evolving relationship between users and AI systems. Dr. Ziv is the co-founder and CEO of Humane AI, a startup dedicated to responsible AI development and data risk management. She lectures on the integration of AI in entrepreneurial and organizational contexts, the development of responsible AI systems, and the societal impact of emerging technologies at leading academic institutions and technology companies.
Dr. Maayan Nakash is a senior faculty member in the Department of Management at Bar-Ilan University (BIU), Israel, specializing in information technologies (IT) and knowledge management (KM). Her research focuses on KM in organizations, AI adoption, digital workplace environments, and the future of work. She earned her degrees with highest honors in Information Science at BIU, specializing in web technologies and IT. During her PhD, she received multiple academic awards, including the BIU President’s Scholarship (4 years), two Rector’s Awards, and twelve excellence awards for publishing in international journals. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Padua, Italy, exploring the synergy between KM and AI. Dr. Nakash serves as Associate Editor of Knowledge Management Research & Practice (KMRP) and as AI Coordinator for research, teaching, and administration in her department. She is also a member of BIU’s Senior Researchers Forum on AI Policy in Academia, and co-editor of the book Managing Human and Artificial Knowledge – New Horizons in AI-Supported Knowledge Management (Springer Nature), an international collaborative project.
