BORIŠA N. LEČIĆ, born on August 31, 1964, in Ljubinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republic of Srpska), is a citizen of Serbia and resides in Novi Sad. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, with an average grade of 8.00. He earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad, with his doctoral dissertation titled *"European Models of Organization and Competences of Security Services in Combating Terrorism."* Since 2017, he has been an assistant and associate professor at the Faculty of Legal and Business Studies Dr. Lazar Vrkatić in Novi Sad, University "Union" Belgrade, teaching Security, Criminology, and Law, with expertise in criminal law and security. From 2013 to 2022, he was an assistant professor at the Academy for National Security, BIA, Belgrade, teaching criminal law and intelligence/security subjects. He has authored two books and around 30 scientific papers. Until September 2017, he worked in the Security Information Agency of the Government of Serbia in senior operational roles. In 2012, by decree of the President of Serbia, he was awarded the “Golden Medal for Diligent Service” for exceptional contributions to national security.
