Prof. Kailong Liu received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, Belfast, U.K., in 2018. He is currently an assistant professor with the Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K., and is a visiting professor with the School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University, Jinan, China. He was a visiting student researcher with Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2016. His research interests include modeling, optimization, and control with applications in electrical/hybrid vehicles, energy storage, and battery manufacture and management.
