Prof. Dr. Hongyu Wang is a senior engineer at the School of Perception Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He holds a master’s degree in test, measurement, and instrumentation from Xi’an Jiaotong University and a doctorate in control theory and control engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include control of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned boats, and robots, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control, multi-sensor fusion, integrated navigation, target detection, and simultaneous localization and mapping. He serves on the editorial board of the journal “UAVs”. He has presided over and completed more than 30 scientific research projects. He has won the second prize in the China Association for Science and Technology's Excellent Science and Technology Journal Project.
