Salvatore De Rosa graduated with a degree in Medicine from the Federico II University of Naples (Italy) in 2002, where he completed the Board in Cardiology in 2007 and the Ph.D. program in Cardiovascular Science and Experimental Medicine in 2010. He is an interventional cardiologist and Full Professor at the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences, Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, Italy. His main research interests include pathophysiological mechanisms and involvement of noncoding RNA in
atherosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology, ischemic heart disease, and biomarkers in cardiovascular medicine. He has coordinated and participated in several clinical studies focused on interventional and pharmacological treatment of cardiovascular disease. His research activity has produced over 220 publications.
