Qingqi Lin is an Associate Professor at The College of Natural
Resources and Environment, South China Agricultural University. He received his
Bachelor’s from South China Agricultural University in 2010 and earned his Ph.D.
at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University
in 2016, and then completed his Postdoctoral research at the School of Geography
and Planning, Sun Yat-sen University, from 2017 to 2020. He was awarded the first
prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Soil Science Society of China
in 2019 and the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Guangdong Society
of Soil Sciences in 2019, etc. His main research interests include environmental
behavior and transformation mechanisms of new pollutants, molecular mechanisms
of uptake and accumulation of organic pollutants in plants, and soil remediation
technologies and applications.
Hua Qi holds a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from North
Minzu University and a Ph.D. in Plant Science from Sun Yat-sen University, and
is currently a Professor at The College of Natural Resources and Environment,
South China Agricultural University. Prior to this, Hua Qi served as a Distinguished
Research Fellow (2020) and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2017–2020) at the School
of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, and an Assistant Research Fellow at
the School of Life Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2015–2016). Hua
Qi’s main research areas include plant stress biology and regulatory
mechanisms of absorption and accumulation of soil heavy metals and other
pollutants in plants.
