Sangho Lee received his Ph.D. in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Seoul National University and currently serves as a Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Kookmin University, Korea. He worked as a Senior Expert at WTIIRA/SWCC while developing his academic career. His research topics primarily include seawater desalination, advanced water treatment, smart water grids, ultrapure water production, and industrial wastewater reclamation, with a particular emphasis on smart technologies for sustainable urban water management. With over 25 years of experience and 170+ peer-reviewed publications, he serves on editorial boards for Desalination, Environmental Engineering Research, and Water Supply, driving innovations in environmental process simulation and water infrastructure resilience.
