Dr. Ole Hilberg earned his MD degree from the University of Aarhus in 1989. Dr. Ole Hilberg is a clinical professor in pulmonology at the Southern Danish University. In the last few years, there has been a focus on lung cancer, Dr. Ole Hilberg has been employed as chief physician at the Department of Medicine since 2016, and previously as chief physician in Aarhus, and as an associate professor at Aarhus University. Dr. Ole Hilberg has been a specialist in pulmonary medicine since 2004 and internal medicine since 2000. His clinical research consists of co-authoring more than 190 peer-reviewed articles and participating in some clinical trials in the past. His research areas are within various lung diseases and lung infections, especially tuberculosis and allergies.
