Mariangela Perillo is an architect and a Ph.D. candidate in Architectural Technology and Environmental Design at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, involved in the national research project "Age-It: Ageing Well in an Ageing Society". Her research investigates the interconnections between human health and the built environment, adopting a life-course approach that considers all stages of human development, with a specific focus on age-friendly environments that support active and healthy ageing.
