Anna Bianchi-Smiraglia is an Assistant Professor of Oncology in the Department of Cell Stress Biology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. She earned an M.S. in Industrial Biotechnology at University of Milan and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the State University of New York. Her research interests include breast cancer, metabolism, metastasis and
tumor-microenvironment interactions.
Eugene S. Kandel is an Assistant Member in the Department of Cell Stress Biology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park). He earned an M.S. with honors at Moscow State University and Ph.D. at University of Illinois, and has been awarded “Golden Standard” distinction from the US Department of Defense, the “Era of Hope” breast cancer research program (1996), the “Innovator” Award from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (2004), and the Howard Temin Award from the National Cancer Institute (2005). He has authored or co-authored more than 60 journal publications and book chapters.
