Patryk Henrique da Fonseca received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology---Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil, in 2019, including a one-year sandwich program in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas, USA, in 2015. He worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas in 2015, as a Telecommunications Systems Operator at COPEL Telecom (2015–2022), and as an Electrical Power System Operator at COPEL Distribution (2022–2024). In 2024, he joined the Lactec Research Institute, as a Researcher at the EMBRAPII-LACTEC Competence Center in Smart Grids and Electromobility. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Graduate Program in Energy Systems (PPGSE) at UTFPR, focusing on automation in energy systems. His research topics mainly include smart grids, low-power wireless sensor networks, and energy harvesting.
