Dr. Ewelina Szacawa is an adjunct at the Department of Bacteriology and Bacterial Animal Diseases, National Veterinary research Institute (NVRI) in Pulawy, Poland. She completed her PhD studies at the NVRI. She has published more than thirty papers in various journals. Her research areas include bovine tuberculosis and its transmission between different animal species. Her interests include the conventional and molecular investigation of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex.
Prof. Monika Krajewska-Wędzina is a professor at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin and the National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) in Puławy, Poland. She completed her doctoral studies at the NVRI. She has published over fifty articles in journals based on citations in the JCR database and disseminates knowledge in local journals for veterinarians. Her research areas include infections in animals, specifically from non-tuberculous mycobacteria and the MTBC complex. Her research interests include the ante-mortem diagnosis of tuberculosis in species other than cattle.
