Sibing Liu is an Associate Professor at the College of
Energy, Chengdu University of Technology. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Resource
Exploration Engineering, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Mineral Prospecting and
Exploration, all from Chengdu University of Technology, in 2004, 2007, and 2010,
respectively. He was also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Postdoctoral Research
Station, SINOPEC Southwest Oil & Gas Company (2010–2013). His main research
interests include 1. geochemistry for oil and gas reservoirs; 2. fluid–rock
interactions in tight sandstones; 3. genesis and mechanisms and controlling
factors of high-quality reservoirs.
