Yan Zhang is an Associate Professor at the School of
Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin,
China. He received his BSc in Measuring and Testing Technologies and
Instruments, MSc in Communication and Information Systems, and PhD in
Instrument Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2002,
2004, and 2011, respectively. He was a Visiting Scholar at University College
London in 2016–2017. His research interests include AI-based image recognition
technology, lightweight deep learning models and hardware acceleration, and
multimodal fusion brain-computer interface technology.
