Lin Liu is Professor at the STEM Unit, University of South Australia. She completed her PhD studies in Computer Systems Engineering at the University of South Australia, and has been awarded Chief Investigator status on several Australian Research Council projects. She has published 1 book and over 200 refereed papers in journals and conferences on data mining, machine learning and bioinformatics, and serves as Associate Editor for BMC Bioinformatics and IEEE Transactions on AI, and reviewer for premier journals and conferences such as TPAMI, Bioinformatics, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR and AAAI. Her research interests include machine learning, data mining, bioinformatics and health informatics.
