Deived Uilian de Carvalho, Ph.D., is a Researcher and Visiting Group Leader at the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), as well as a Researcher at the Paraná Rural Development Institute (IDR-Paraná). He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from the State University of Northern Paraná (UENP), and his Master's and Doctorate degrees in the same discipline from the State University of Londrina (UEL). His academic and professional pursuits are focused on agronomy and horticulture, with particular expertise in citrus cultivation.
