Prof. Raj Gururajan is an Adjunct Professor at the SRM Institute of Science & Technology in India. Currently, he is serving as the President of ACPHIS, the peak body representing Australian Information Systems Professors. He is the recipient of USQ's Research Excellence Award, USQ's Value Champion Award, Queensland Premier's IT Research Excellence Award, and the Endeavour Executive Award, among many others. His research focus is on Health Informatics, with specific attention paid to developing Intelligent and Decision Support Systems. He has been working in the Australian Tertiary Sector since 1989 and has taken on a number of roles, including Program Director, Research Centre Director, Research Coordinator, Associate Dean (Research), Acting Head of School, Discipline Coordinator, and Faculty Equity Coordinator, among many others.
Dr. Ka Ching Chan is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He holds a BASc in Engineering Science and an MASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, as well as a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of New South Wales. He has held academic positions at the University of New South Wales, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and La Trobe University. In addition to his academic career, he has extensive experience in the ICT sector, particularly in founding and leading technology startups.
