Linda Deissler received her medical licence in May 2024 and is currently working on her doctoral thesis, which focuses on assessing the hydration status in geriatric patients. She recieved her Bachelor of Science degree in nutritional science in 2016 and worked in a nutritional medicine research group in Uppsala, Sweden in 2015. In 2024, she moved to the Department of internal medicine IV at LMU Hospital in Munich, where she focuses on clinical nutrition and hydration in geriatric patients. Her research topics mainly include: clinical nutrition and hydration, hydration status in older adults, geriatric assessment, diagnostic accuracy, and anorexia of ageing.
