Prof. Feng Yu graduated with a bachelor's degree in plant
science and technology from the College of Plant Science and Technology,
Huazhong Agricultural University, in June 2010, and a doctorate in Genetics
from the College of Life Sciences, Huazhong Agricultural University, in June
2016. From July 2016 to June 2018, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the College
of Plant Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University; from June
2018 to September 2019, he was an associate professor at the College of
Agriculture and Biology, Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering.
Since October 2019, he has been working at the College of Life Sciences, Hubei
University, where he is currently an associate professor. His research
interests mainly focus on crop genomics and genetic breeding.
Prof. Dr. Pingfang Yang received his master's degree from
Huazhong Agricultural University in June 2002 and his doctorate from the
Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in June 2005. From July 2005
to November 2005, he was an intern researcher at the Institute of Botany,
Chinese Academy of Sciences. From March 2007 to December 2009, he worked at
Jianping Hu’s Lab, DOE–Plant Research Laboratory, Michigan State University.
From January 2010 to September 2018, he was a researcher at the Wuhan Botanical
Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since October 2018, he has been a
professor at the School of Life Sciences, Hubei University. His research
interests mainly focus on the molecular mechanism of seed dormancy and germination
and the proteomics of plant sexual reproduction.
