Yi Su joined the School of Civil Engineering, Nanjing
Forestry University in 2006 as a Lecturer, and is currently an Associate
Professor. He served as a Visiting Scholar at Kyoto University, Japan from 2015
to 2016 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Southeast University from 2014 to 2017.
He also earned his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees, both in Disaster Prevention and
Mitigation Engineering and Protective Engineering from Southeast University, in
2003 and 2006, respectively. He is a Council Member of the Structural Design
Branch, China Engineering and Consulting Association, and a Council Member of
the Civil Engineering Composites Branch,
Chinese Society for Composite Materials. His main research areas include Structural
Seismic Resistance; Structural Vibration Control and Structural Design; Modern
Bamboo and Timber Structures; and Research, Development, and Application of
Vibration-Damping Metamaterials.
