Author Biographies

Juanyu Wu, is a professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, South China University of Technology, and a researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Subtropical Building Science and Guangzhou Key Laboratory of Landscape Architecture. Wu received PhD in Landscape architecture from the Paris Academy of Social Sciences in 2008 and is a visiting scholar at the University of Florida in 2023. Her research interests focus on: green infrastructure planning and evaluation, ecosystem services, and landscape architecture heritage conservation. She has published more than 70 papers, including 5 SCI papers. Wu’s research has won many grants and commendations, such as hosting 1 project of the National Science Foundation, 1 project of the National Youth Foundation, 6 provincial and ministerial projects, and 2 science and technology awards of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture.

Yi Luo, PhD, PLA is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Florida. Prior to joining the University of Florida, Yi taught at Texas Tech University and Texas A&M University. Yi received her Bachelor of Architecture from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China, Master of Landscape Architecture from Utah State University, and PhD in Urban and Regional Science from Texas A&M University.  Her areas of interest are landscape performance evaluation, sustainability assessment, performance evaluation metrics and methods, therapeutic landscapes, and stormwater management and low impact development. Yi’s research has been funded by various agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Landscape Architecture Foundation, and Jessie Ball DuPont.
Yongmei Xiong, is a professor at the Department of Forestry Technology Research, Guangzhou Institute of Forestry and Landscape Architecture, and a researcher at the Guangzhou Key Laboratory of Landscape Architecture. Xiong received Master's degree in South China Agricultural University in 2007 . Her research interests focus on urban biodiversity and ecological restoration. She has published more than 50 papers, including more than 10 SCI papers. Xiong’s research has won many grants and commendations, such as hosting or mainly participating  5 provincial and ministerial projects, and 2 science and technology awards of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture.
