Victor A. Cervantes-Urieta is a PhD student in Natural Resources and Ecology (BSc in 2017, MSc in 2020). He is a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Autonomous University of Guerrero, Guerrero, Mexico. His main interests are the analysis and interpretation of ecological and molecular data of phytoplankton and microphytobenthos in natural and experimental environments. He is a member of the Harmful Algal Bloom Network (Mexico). He has published articles related to the same topic, mainly for the coasts of the State of Guerrero (Southwest Mexico) and has participated in compiling the inventories of phytoplankton along the same coasts. Similarly, he actively collaborates with several research groups in Mexico and abroad.
